Hello, as you can see i\'m venezuelan, I\'m not going to congratulate you for this web site, I think this is a joke!... are you mocking the people from my country?... because that\'s how it seems. If you love sooo much the bolivarian revolution (that doesn\'t have anything bolivarian about it) you should come to Venezuela, and you shouldn\'t make a guided visit, you should go to the popular zones... first of all is almost sure that you\'ll get robbed... maybe there will be some people that still belives in Chávez, but ask them how do they live... Chavez has been Venezuela\'s president for 9 years and my country today is worst than ever. When Chávez enter to Miraflores the dollar costed 500 bolivares now it costs almost 4000 bolivares. The inflation increases every month and the measures taken are inefficient, the inflation rate is going to arrive to 20%.
You should worry about your country instead, and if you are going to support something you better investigate before, maybe you\'ve visited Venezuela in the past, but life in this country isn\'t at all the same as tourism.
I\'m not an imperialist yankee and I don\'t work for the CIA, I just want a better future for my country. Hey and if you have doubts just see Chavez\'s friends: the president of Iran and Fidel Castro, he admires Mao Tse Tung, Stalin and a bunch of comunist people....

Violence Needed Against Chavez, Venezuela Opposition Leader [former President] Says. Dictatorship Must Follow
Former Venezuelan President Carlos Andres Perez during a party in his honor celebrated in Miami Venezuelan opposition leader, and two times country president Carlos Andres Perez (CAP), made a series of statements calling for violence and hinting at an eventual dictatorial period that the Venezuelan opposition must implement if current President Hugo Chavez is removed from office.
\"I am working to remove Chavez [from power]. Violence will allow us to remove him. That\'s the only way we have,\" said CAP in an interview published Sunday in El Nacional, a local newspaper.
CAP, who was speaking from Miami, denied being involved in a plot to assassinate Chávez, but said Chavez \"must die like a dog, because he deserves it.\"
Chavez is facing a recall referendum on his mandate to be held Aug 15. Most polls show him as the winner.
In 1992, while being a military officer, Chavez led an unsuccessful coup against CAP, who was very unpopular at the time after implementing an economic policies package mandated by the IMF. CAP was later impeached on corruption charges while Chavez remained in prison for trying to overthrow a democratically-elected government.
During the interview, CAP hinted at a possible dictatorial period to be implemented in case Chavez is removed from office. \"We can\'t just get rid of Chavez and immediately have a democracy... we will need a transition period of two or three years to lay de foundations for a state where the rule of law prevails... a collegiate body (junta) must govern during that transition and lay the democratic foundations for the future,\" CAP said.
\"When Chavez falls, we must shut down the National Assembly (Congress) and also the Supreme Court. All the Chavista institutions must disappear,\" the opposition leader added.
When questioned on the Venezuelan people\'s desire to not go back to the past when corruption and bad government policies -including his own- led to a significant decrease in living standards, the ex-President said the agreed that the past cannot return, but added that \"I am not the past, I am the future [of Venezuela]\". CAP\'s political plans are unknown, but he denied seeking a third term.
President Chavez reacted to CAP\'s comments by making an appeal to the rest of the opposition do distance themselves from the ex-president. \"We need an opposition that\'s loyal to the country, so we can work in the building of our nation in spite of our differences,\" Chavez said.
Chavez said the hoped the \"more rational opposition\" would not welcome \"that new call for violence from the most radical sectors of Venezuela\'s oligarchy.\"
Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez asked the opposition not to answer calls for violence from former President Carlos Andres Perez.
Credit: Venpres. Chavez said the opposition is desperate looking for another way to remove him from power, as polls show he will survive the upcoming recall referendum. He challenged polling companies whose executives are known to oppose his government, to publish the results of their recent polls. Venezuelan Information Minister Jesse Chacon said recently that he has copies of the polls favoring Chavez, and threatened to publish them if the companies or the opposition don\'t come forward.
Last Friday, Venezuelan Vice-president Jose Vicente Rangel, asked opposition leaders to sign an accord in which both sides promise to respect the results of the recall, and not resort to violence. Chavez has repeatedly said he will abide by the results of the recall, but so far no opposition leader has made a similar promise. United Nations Special Adviser of the Secretary-General on Latin American Issues, Diego Cordovez, made an appeal to the opposition to openly state they will respect the results of the recall.

All I can say for the Venezuelans in the US and the few americans that think Chavez is so wonderful... move to (or back to ) Venezuela,see what its like to have food shortages, TV stations closing because they are opposed to him and his party, see how dirty the streets of Caracas are, how unsafe it is to walk the streets after dark...or even during the day. I grew up in Caracas, my father is Venezuelan and I have many great memories of my great country, but do not chose to live there, I do not support a communist oppresive, and totatlitarian regime. Chavez is just another currupt ex-military uneducated polititian with the petrodollars in his pocket. When he first became president he said he didnt need the casa presidencil, or Miraflores, and that he would donate those to the peopel, he sais he coudl be president from a Galpon (wharehouse) the funny ehough he goes and buys a brand new A319 presidential aircraft, while the country already had a Boeing 727 (american made) The cost of his custom jet was in teh $60 million dollar range...he needs to go. The next thing he will do is follow in his menotr steps (look at Cuba now) he will attempt to elimntate capitalism...

Are you nuts?? it is true that you can find any kind of people in us. Sure, you are happy because you are saving a few bucks, now you can go ahead and buy those nike shoes you always wanted, or that plasma tv set you dreamed about. But how about people in venezuela that make in a year what you make in a week(or less) you people live in the most powerful country on the face of the earth (like it or not) and you shouln\'t be receiving help from a castro-loving dictator as he is. So dont be like Danny Glover and refuse to take any more help from him. Instead you must inquire chavez to do more in his country and stop talking trash and start working in the benefit of all venezuelans.

Al principio, al hallar este website, pense que esto era un mal chiste pero ahora veo que esto es un tragico sainete. Quien sea el que lo ha creado debe tener un humor bilioso pues no es posible que alguien cuerdo en America pueda apoyar al \"coronel cotorra\" Hugo Chavez.
Este militarote golpista no es mas que un represor que odia la libertad de otros. Es un tipo que se aprovecha de la buena fe de un pueblo que voto por el creyendo en sus embustes socialistoides y que al final llevara a Venezuela a la ruina y al caos. Lejos de hallar justicia social, el pueblo venezolano caera en la ignominia de la chivateria, la mendicidad populachera, el terror ideologico, el despilfarro de los bienes del pais, la ingerencia del regimen en la vida privada y en la de otros pueblos, el robo institucionalizado, la violencia como herramienta de persuacion, los campos de trabajo forzado, el adoctrinamiento comunista, la separacion familiar, la destruccion de la amistad y la entronizacion de la chusma en el quehacer ciudadano...
El presidentucho Chavez no tiene la decencia ni la cordura que debe tener un gobernante. Si bien no tiene que andar a golpes de reverencia con nadie tampoco debe actuar como un desparpajado patan. Su actitud solo es admirada por los mezquinos de siempre y recibe el aplauso de una turba inmunda y malintencionada que no busca el bien de todos sino el mal para otros. Los envidiosos e incapaces ceban su maldad contra aquel que ha triunfado y/o contra aquellos que se oponen a los desmanes de este coronel sin batallas, militar sin victorias y bravucon de barrio que lo unico que ha hecho es llenar su amplio estomago tragando \"rancho\" de cuartel.
Su programa ALO PRESIDENTE es una triste contribucion a los espectaculos circences. Carente de facilidad linguistica atropella con sucia verborrea a todo lo que le molesta, sea real o imaginario. Pasea su grotesca figura por Venezuela y mas parece un mal bufon de feria que un dirigente politico. Y, de paso, hace propanganda al tirano del Caribe, Fidel Castro, cual \"lamebotas profesional\".
Pobre Venezuela, lo que le espera en el futuro no es mas que agonizar bajo la apestosa chancleta que calza Chavez.
Ya veremos a muchos de los que hoy le apoyan languidecer en prision, exilandose en el extranjero o terminando sus dias ante el peloton de fusilamiento...
