Viva la Revolucion Revolution!!! Viva Chavez vivaaaaa.... Viva Venezuelaaaaaaaa. Date: 11/21/2006 11:03:19 -0800 From: "Richard Tovar" I support chavez, chavez is the world most famous president, and he is the best and venezuela is a beautiful and democratic country. Date: 11/21/2006 04:55:18 -0800 From: "john smith" do not believe any of what his site says. Political propaganda is the number one tool of an autrocratic regime. take it from someone who has acutally lived in venezuela, there is no freedom, poverty rates are much higher and the economy as decreased. If you\'re going to support someone, make you\'re research, do not support someone because he gives you cheap oil without knowing how he treats his own people. Also, do not support chavez just because he is anti-bush. Bush is probably the worst president the Us has had in a long time, but that does not mean you have to support whoever is against him. Really, it makes me sad to see sites like this one, because Americans do not really know the situation in venezuela and think it is a perfect, Robin-hood-esque ( taking from the rich to give to the poor) communicism, and it is not. By the way, this site is run by the Bolivrian circles, which are organizations throughout the venezuelan society that discourage free speech and manipulate the sources and media. Anyway, I feel like my time has been wasted because you guys will not be valien enough to post this. Date: 11/01/2006 13:52:21 -0800 From: "Artemis3" Hello from Venezuela: I have seen your site and i like it very much. The links section contains many helpful Venezuela related links in english. Yes, the constitution hosted at the Embassy of Venezuela in USA has the links broken, but the content is there. Here are the direct links: http://www.embavenez-us.org/constitution/constitution_titleI.htm http://www.embavenez-us.org/constitution/title_II.htm http://www.embavenez-us.org/constitution/title_III.htm http://www.embavenez-us.org/constitution/title_iv.htm http://www.embavenez-us.org/constitution/title_v.htm http://www.embavenez-us.org/constitution/title_vi.htm http://www.embavenez-us.org/constitution/title_VII.htm http://www.embavenez-us.org/constitution/title_VIII.htm http://www.embavenez-us.org/constitution/title_IX.htm Someone asked about Mother Earth: We are very concerned, yes in fact, one of the reasons we are criticising capitalism is that it puts the making of profits above humanity and the enviroment. Countries in development are exempt from signing the kyoto treaty but we did anyway. There is a national plan (mission) for planting hundreds of millions of trees; there are efforts for cleaning the polluted sealake where US oil corporations have extracted petroleum for a century without any regard to the enviroment, and the rivers crossing the cities are getting treatment; we have banned genetic modified seeds and discouraging the use of chemicals in agriculture, favoring fully organical methods such as those used by Movimento dos Trabalhadores Rurais Sem Terra do Brazil whose delegates have been working here with us for some years. The hatewords: we are used to them. If something is lacking in the opposition camp, is the proposal of ideas. You can watch for yourself what most of the private media broadcasts and publishes here. Anyone who comes from another country can spend 2 hours watching local TV and their mouths drop jaw. Calling the private media \"biased\" against Chavez is underestimating at best. I\'ll give you help: if you are good with satellite tv, try to catch satellite NSS 806 at 40.5deg West, mpeg2 unscrambled; and you can watch both state owned \"Venezolana de TV\" and private owned \"Globovisión\". Beware that the likes of Murdoch\'s Fox News look like little angels in comparison... Have you ever seen any of the documentaries about Venezuela\'s coup attempt in 2002? Much to our grieve, most (if not all) of the criminals are still free, with a few of the worst ones (terrorists who planted bombs and killed people) living happily in FL and asking people there, on broadcast tv, to murder our president. Kinda like what Pat Robertson did, but everyweek. I wonder what the Bush administration would do to an american if he/she said the same about him; specially with these \"terrorism\" laws where you can be kidnapped and disappeared forever in clandestine prisons wihout any rights. The venezuelan process have twarted the interests of a small rich elite who mostly made their riches by corruption with the old politicians, and they happened to own most of the media. So they have been bombing the people with their media for 8 years with feelings against Chavez. Most of the opossition simply are victims of this. You can easily prove this when you try to ask them for solid arguments but they don\'t know better than to repeat the same empty words said on TV (also repeated by their friends). Most don\'t even know why they have to hate Chavez but they do since they see their peers doing it. It\'s pretty sad as it is, as we really need a good opposition who could counterbalance some problems; but all they do is talk about killing, removing, hating, etc. without any real counterproposal or political program at all. As it is, for each of them there are two of us. The proportion of people supporting Chavez is right now aproximately twice of those against him. All recent polls, including polls made for the G.W.Bush Administration, reveal this. The last referendum against Chavez also did, and the coming elections Dec 3 2006 will prove it again. Date: 10/31/2006 02:18:18 -0800 From: Douglas Freedman I am from the United States. Hugo Chavez is my hero. I wish that he was my president, instead of George Bush. Too bad we can\'t trade presidents, like professional sports teams trade their players. Date: 10/22/2006 09:58:29 -0700 From: "Ian" I'm enamored. I would love to learn more. What I would really, REALLY like is to find any available work for Chavez. I've worked for years in the revolutionary arena. I'd love to say more, but I could go on for quite some time. Please email me if you or any other pro-Chavez organizations have any openings for employment. I'd love to dedicate a healthy majority of my time to backing this cause. Thanks for all your work! - Ian Date: 10/19/2006 00:52:15 -0700 From: "Alex Psarreas - Canada" Hola Chavistas! I\'m really happly to see people from the States who support the Bolivarian Alternative in the \"democracy\" that is called United States. Chavez is the best, a pain in the ass for the Bush-Blair gang and the ruling class in the Western world. Good News, now Evo in Bolivia, others to follow on. Chavez-Fidel-Subcommadante Marcos-Palestine-Iraq-Afganistan-Lebanon show the way. Global resistance until the end. Date: 10/12/2006 10:36:54 -0700 From: "Bolivarian Circle \"Alberto Lovera\"" http://venezuelasolidarityconference.org/ News & Info Schedule of Events Donations Links The Venezuelan people have defeated, through mass mobilizations by workers and peasants, three attempts to overthrow the government of Hugo Chavez. They succeeded because of the greater space, since Chávez came to the presidency, to fight for land, jobs, and democratic rights. Yet, the intensifying campaign of the US government and the mainstream media to demonize the government of Venezuela as a \"destabilizing force in Latin America\", \"authoritarian populism\", and all sorts of name calling is a prelude to a future attempt for US intervention and \"regime change\" in Venezuela. Defenders of Venezuelan sovereignty are calling on all supporters of basic democratic rights to join us in building an International Venezuelan Solidarity Conference, as we say “No” to US intervention in Venezuela and “Yes” for all sovereign nations to be able to decide their own future. Friday, Nov. 17 Opening Night. Key Note Speakers and Cultural Event.
In 2002, millions of Venezuelan workers and peasants mobilized in the streets and overturned a US-backed coup attempt to oust their democratically elected president. Macalester College, St. Paul, MNWe welcome all organizations and individuals willing to build this conference on the platform of defending Venezuelan sovereignty and opposing any US intervention. Great to see some people like you on the web standing behind this great man that is Chavez. As I can see from some comments left here most people are still blinded and brainwashed by US corporate media. It\'s really sad. But I have hope. I know one day, more and more people will wake up and realize how they are being lied to ocnstantly. Things in this country have to change, because another world is possible...and it\'a happening in Venezuela!!! The venezuelan revolution is LOVE. It\'s the love of the people, the love for life and the love for a better world for those who will come after us. Viva Chavez! Viva Venezuela!
