Hello compatriotas....... Viva la Revolucion Revolution!!! Viva Chavez vivaaaaa.... Venezuela cambio para siempre, con el tremendo lider que tenemos, que orgullo para los venezolanos, que orgullo!!! tengo 21 años y me siento tan feliz, tan orgullosa de mi presidente. Ha trabajado demasiado por mi pais, en aspecto economico, social, educativo, cultural, tecnologico, infraestructura, vivienda, deportivo, medicina, turismo.. tantas cosas que ha hecho que no terminaria de escribir aqui. Me gusta que en otras latitudes apoyen a mi presidente hermoso y nos tomen en cuenta a nosotros los venezolanos. Estoy muy orgullosa. Todo eso que la OPOSICION dice que Venezuela esta cayendo en la pobreza y nos estamos hundiendo es MENTIRA, DESCARO, FALACIA...No crean lo que dicen los medios oligarcas y amarillistas. Viva Venezuelaaaaaaaa.

do not believe any of what his site says. Political propaganda is the number one tool of an autrocratic regime. take it from someone who has acutally lived in venezuela, there is no freedom, poverty rates are much higher and the economy as decreased. If you\'re going to support someone, make you\'re research, do not support someone because he gives you cheap oil without knowing how he treats his own people. Also, do not support chavez just because he is anti-bush. Bush is probably the worst president the Us has had in a long time, but that does not mean you have to support whoever is against him. Really, it makes me sad to see sites like this one, because Americans do not really know the situation in venezuela and think it is a perfect, Robin-hood-esque ( taking from the rich to give to the poor) communicism, and it is not. By the way, this site is run by the Bolivrian circles, which are organizations throughout the venezuelan society that discourage free speech and manipulate the sources and media. Anyway, I feel like my time has been wasted because you guys will not be valien enough to post this.

Someone asked about Mother Earth: We are very concerned, yes in fact, one of the reasons we are criticising capitalism is that it puts the making of profits above humanity and the enviroment. Countries in development are exempt from signing the kyoto treaty but we did anyway. There is a national plan (mission) for planting hundreds of millions of trees; there are efforts for cleaning the polluted sealake where US oil corporations have extracted petroleum for a century without any regard to the enviroment, and the rivers crossing the cities are getting treatment; we have banned genetic modified seeds and discouraging the use of chemicals in agriculture, favoring fully organical methods such as those used by Movimento dos Trabalhadores Rurais Sem Terra do Brazil whose delegates have been working here with us for some years.
The hatewords: we are used to them. If something is lacking in the opposition camp, is the proposal of ideas. You can watch for yourself what most of the private media broadcasts and publishes here. Anyone who comes from another country can spend 2 hours watching local TV and their mouths drop jaw. Calling the private media \"biased\" against Chavez is underestimating at best. I\'ll give you help: if you are good with satellite tv, try to catch satellite NSS 806 at 40.5deg West, mpeg2 unscrambled; and you can watch both state owned \"Venezolana de TV\" and private owned \"Globovisión\". Beware that the likes of Murdoch\'s Fox News look like little angels in comparison...
Have you ever seen any of the documentaries about Venezuela\'s coup attempt in 2002? Much to our grieve, most (if not all) of the criminals are still free, with a few of the worst ones (terrorists who planted bombs and killed people) living happily in FL and asking people there, on broadcast tv, to murder our president. Kinda like what Pat Robertson did, but everyweek. I wonder what the Bush administration would do to an american if he/she said the same about him; specially with these \"terrorism\" laws where you can be kidnapped and disappeared forever in clandestine prisons wihout any rights.
The venezuelan process have twarted the interests of a small rich elite who mostly made their riches by corruption with the old politicians, and they happened to own most of the media. So they have been bombing the people with their media for 8 years with feelings against Chavez. Most of the opossition simply are victims of this. You can easily prove this when you try to ask them for solid arguments but they don\'t know better than to repeat the same empty words said on TV (also repeated by their friends). Most don\'t even know why they have to hate Chavez but they do since they see their peers doing it. It\'s pretty sad as it is, as we really need a good opposition who could counterbalance some problems; but all they do is talk about killing, removing, hating, etc. without any real counterproposal or political program at all.
As it is, for each of them there are two of us. The proportion of people supporting Chavez is right now aproximately twice of those against him. All recent polls, including polls made for the G.W.Bush Administration, reveal this. The last referendum against Chavez also did, and the coming elections Dec 3 2006 will prove it again.

I've worked for years in the revolutionary arena.
I'd love to say more, but I could go on for quite some time.

As I can see from some comments left here most people are still blinded and brainwashed by US corporate media. It\'s really sad. But I have hope.
